Think of lawrence.com as a bar - it may get a bit raucous, racy, totally un-PC, offensive, salty, etc - but in the end, the patrons are civilized people that respect themselves and others enough to observe a basic level of decorum. If a visitor at a bar gets out of control, starts taking swings at people, repeatedly hits on your signifcant other, etc., any bouncer worth his salt will kick the jackass out - otherwise, the regulars will leave instead.
