History:
1950 D.A. is, at its base, is a rock-n-roll outfit oscillating between aggressiveness and passivity with lyrics that tell a story. Most recently formed under the Diamond Heart Club moniker, each member has been around the block with many past musical endeavors (perhaps most notably, singer Mark Hennessy used to front Paw) and brings a unique flavor to the group from pure rock to noise rock to blues. With so many different musical backgrounds, the sound is unique, refusing to fall under any particular rock make or model, curiously built to fit just about anywhere. This rock-n-roll band leads a life of crime with few boundaries, old school, new style.
