History:
A full-time professional musician since the early 80s, Billy has traveled the globe spreading his unique style of music. Originally from Lawrence, he has toured Europe, Hong Kong, Canada, Mexico, Central America and Fiji. Billy also spent twelve years playing in New Zealand and Australia. A prolific songwriter and multi instrumentalist Billy has recorded twelve albums to date. Continuing to write songs and balancing his time between performing and recording he has been averaging one album every two years. This year however Billy has recorded three albums: "Lay Down Lullabies," Lullaby CD with a five book set, "File Gumby," all Zydeco party CD and "Big As Dallas," an eclectic fit of originalsongs. Along the way Billy has played with or opened for Brownie McGhee, Red Holloway, Buckwheat Zydeco, Taj Mahal, Keb' Mo', Robert Jr Lockwood, John Hammond, Johnny Johnson, Little Charlie & the Nightcats, Tailgators and Wayne Toups.
Billy is now based in the United States playing in the Kansas City area with the Late For Dinner Band featuring Paul Matthews on drums and Ben Shult on bass.
