History
The Calamity Cubes is a four-piece made up of Joey Henry, Brook Blanche, Patrick Herd and JJ "Yukon Jimijon" Hanson. We all bring our own songs and individual singing and playing styles to the table and compliment each other with a mix of vocal harmonies, banjo, mandolin, guitar, bass fiddle and harmonicas. We all switch instruments in between songs, and the live shows are very interactive. We enjoy old trucks, simple living and intertubes to help us float along the rivers and creeks of Kansas. We also enjoy drinking beer whilst floating along said rivers. True story.
