History:
Censura started their journey into the music industry in the spring of 2005 and has grown quite a large fan base in a very short time. After playing shows for just over one year, they consistently raise the bar for other bands they share the stage with. While Censura has an explosive live stage presence, they bring down their sets with introspective melodic pieces. They focus on these high-energy live performances, catchy riffs, and copious amounts of melody to keep their fan base growing. After winning awards and battle of the bands over some of Kansas City’s top name acts, Censura has earned themselves slots on shows with Rob Zombie, Godsmack, and Shinedown and are already making a name for themselves.
