Honorary FWs, friends who perform with us occasionally: Kit Cole (fiddle), Suzy Ashline (squeezebox), Kory Willis (lap steel, bass when Ross is unavailable); any of Bret's uncles or cousins.
Jeff went to Scotland, Bret switched to guitar, Nick left for pressing business obligations, Will went to Austin, and Paul has stuck with us through rough times. A band is only as good as its drummer!! Meanwhile, other distractions are Bret's work with pop sensations The What Gives, Ross's drumming with The Lonesome Hobos, Paul's illustrious past with KC-based Subpop recording artists Holler, and Junior's work as a founder and organizer of the Twangfest music festival in St Louis (1997-2002).
