Description
Current Status: Gigging around, always looking for a good time.
Sound description: Did ya see that storm that swept through the Winfield campground this last year? Well, GCDC sounds kinda like that, but with more thunder. They ain't exactly alt-country or whatever people are calling modern acoustic music these days. They're just honest, simple and powerful storytellers that get their stank all over you.
Influences: Liquor, Aderol, Women and Tomato Pie.
Similar to: Whiskey.

History
One day back in 2004 three local rawkers put down their electrics, picked up acoustics and never looked back. Known for their love of whiskey and street playing, they somehow ended up in Mike West's 9th Ward Pickin' Parlor last summer. They put their sweat, blood and tears into a CD that's chock full of stories about catfish, women, drinkin', truckin' and the mysteries of life. Hey, none of this stuff was planned; it just happened.
