History:
Formed by Nick Kounas and Steve Ozark to fill an empty niche in the Lawrence area, Sellout was conceived on a boat one sunny morning. Sellout is not about any particular musician or singer. Having performed with 9 different female singers, 7 drummers, 4 horn players, 5 guitarists and 2 keyboardists, Sellout brings the show with whomever wherever. With today's lineup being the best lineup to date, Sellout can be seen monthly in Lawrence at any of a number of different venues with the main venue being the Jazzhaus. Sellout has performed at Bars, Nightclubs, Private Parties, Weddings, Resorts and Benefits from St. Louis to Colorado. The lineup may change but the songs remain the same: over-the-top party hits that make any event better.
