Was there some sporting event last night, or something?
May I just say that I started saying "Mario and the Miracles" way before it got big, all the way back in the Sweet 16. I guess it was an omen.
Last night I watched the game with about 20 friends at an apartment at 13th and Kentucky. My wife spent the last five minutes or so of the second half and all of overtime praying with her back to the screen and crying. Michael Beasley watched it with us as our good luck charm. It was the KU student named Michael Beasley, but it's all the same.
What an overwhelming evening. Where were YOU when the shit went down, lawrence.comrade???
See some of y'all at Memorial Stadium this afternoon.
here is some video footage of downtown Lawrence gone insane after the victory!!!
Or check out the audio slideshow here!!
And here's the multimedia from the victory over UNC.
