Public notice is hereby
given that the City of Law-
rence, Kansas (the "City"),
will conduct a public hear-
ing on Tuesday, December
19, 2017 at 5:45 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as may be
heard, at City Hall, 6 East
6th Street, Lawrence, Kan-
sas in regard to the appli-
cation of Plastikon Health-
care, LLC, a Kansas limited
liability company (the
"Company"), for a 70%
10-year property tax ex-
emption proposed to be
granted by the City pursu-
ant to Article 11, Section 13
of the Kansas Constitution
for an approximately
50,000 square foot addition
to an existing facility and
certain personal property
to be used by the appli-
cant for manufacturing ar-
ticles of commerce. The
property proposed to be
exempted is located at

the City. The governing
body of the City will not
consider passage of an or-
dinance authorizing the
granting of such exemp-
tion until said public hear-
ing has been concluded.

NOTICE OF HEARING
(K.S.A. Chapter 38)

COMES NOW the State of Kansas, by and through
counsel, Kathleen Munch Britton, Assistant District At-
torney, and provides notice of a hearing as follows:
A petition pertaining to the parental rights to the
child whose name appears above has been filed in this
Court requesting the Court to find the child is a child in
need of care as defined in the Kansas Code for the Care
of Children. If a child is adjudged to be a child in need
of care and the Court finds a parent to be unfit, the
Court may permanently terminate that parent's paren-
tal rights. The Court may also make other orders in-
cluding, but not limited to, requiring a parent to pay
child support. A third addendum amendment to petition
has been filed with this Court alleging Isaac Smith as a
possible father.
A motion to find the parents of each child named
above unfit and to terminate parental rights, appoint a
permanent custodian, or enter such orders as are
deemed appropriate and just has been filed. The court
may enter orders regarding custody and case planning
necessary to achieve permanency for each child named
above, including proposals for living arrangements for
the child and services to be provided the child and the
child's family.
On the 30th day of January, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. Isaac
Smith and any other person claiming legal custody of
the minor child is required to appear for an Adjudica-
tion hearing and Disposition hearing.
On the 30th day of January, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. al-
leged fathers Isaac Jones, Issac LaBlue, Isaac Smith, un-
known father and any other person claiming legal cus-
tody of the minor child is required to appear for a Trial
or Default hearing on the Motion to Terminate Parental
Rights.
The above hearings will be held in Division 6 at the
Douglas County Law Enforcement and Judicial Center,
111 E 11th Street, Lawrence, Kansas. Each grandparent
is permitted but not required to appear with or without
counsel as an interested party in the proceeding. Prior
to the proceeding, a parent, grandparent or any other
party to the proceeding may file a written response to
the pleading with the clerk of court.
Craig Stancliffe, an attorney in Lawrence, Kansas,
has been appointed the Guardian ad litem. DANIELLE
PACKER, an attorney in Topeka, Kansas, has been ap-
pointed to represent the alleged father, Isaac Jones. RE-
BEKAH GASTON, an attorney in Lawrence, Kansas, has
been appointed to represent the alleged father, Isaac
Lablue. JEFFREY KINCAID, an attorney in Lawrence, Kan-
sas, has been appointed to represent the alleged fa-
ther, Isaac Smith. JENNIFER WIKA, an attorney in Law-
rence, Kansas, has been appointed to represent the un-
known father.
All parties are hereby notified that, pursuant to
K.S.A. 60-255, a default judgment will be taken against
