Counting Crows

The announcement of a Counting Crows show probably inspires one of two reactions: 1. "Awesome!" 2. "Counting Crows are still a band?" It'd be easy to pick on Adam Duritz and company, what with their last hit coming off the "Shrek" soundtrack. But anyone who was popping pimples during the "August and Everything After" era knows that these fellas are bona fide hitmakers. Heck, half that dang record was on the radio! Since then, Counting Crows have settled into a comfortable niche as a fan-favorite band that reworks its hits and does what it's always done best: cathartic live shows.
