I LOVE THIS PLACE! They treat you with a lot of respect, and they have the best "old school" mex in town
My personal favorites are the pork chille verde, the chilli colorado and their queso(not cheese dip, but soft white mexican cheese, baked and topped with chiles and tomatoes).
I have never been able to finish a entree there, and I am a big boy...Add the reasonable price and you have VALUE.

This place is definitely my fave as far as Asian food goes. They have a grill where you get to take a plate of raw meat and veggies to someone and it's cooked right there in front of you. On the weekends, it's crab legs/shrimp cocktail (all you can eat). This place is a real winner. The service is fantastic also.

I have lived in the southwest, so I am used to having wonderful and affordable Mexican food with lots of variety at my fingertips. I was very pleasantly surprised when I visited here. The staff is adorable, very gracious. It almost seemed like it was their opening night and they were trying to please everyone who was there, in spite of being very busy. When I took my first bite, I understood why they were so busy: the food tastes authentic and has FLAVOR. Nicely done. I'll go back.

This place used to be my favorite mexican restaruant but I don't know what happened to it. The food has become tasteless and sloppy and the service has not been very good. I actually complained about the food to them and they just blew me off and didn't even apologize. Not very good customer service. Another thing, watch out for your money, one of the cashiers likes to scam you. I might try this restaruant again in a couple of months but if it isn't good again, I am not going back.

This is a great place for good authentic Mexican food. The meats are flavorful, the cheeses are creamy not oily and the beans and rice taste good and not like they came directly from a can/mix. Definelty this is one of the best Mexican places in town. They have good food, good service, huge helpings (too big really) and fair prices.

The salsa is the best in town! Very friendly, courteous - quick on the refills and all around service. Big portions. A bit pricey, but probably worth it - a nice experience!

Ixtapa is Lawrence's best kept secret. It is the only Mexican restaurant I eat at anymore. The salsa is spicy. The food is authentic and served hotter (as in temperature, not spice) than you'll get anywhere else. Service is really good.

This has got to be some of the best Mexican food around! Not your normal fare, by any means, yet ever so delicious. The people are very friendly, the food is always fresh and hot. For the lovers of heat, the Camarones Diablo are very nice, very flavourful, and nice heat, without being too hot. Pollo al la Crema is simply incredible! I have not had a bad experience or bad food here - you can go wrong!
