Description: After four albums during the 90s with the widely known Lawrence indie-pop duo Butterglory, Matt Suggs moved away from here, to Visalia (CA) where he took a kitchen job at a local restaurant. Suggs resurfaced solo-style in 2000 with folkish pop-rock that delivers surreal lyrics like a storytelling sage who speaks in abstractions. His latest work improves in that vein, with backing by Thee Higher Burning Fire.
