KU Graduate, Tara Nicole Tonsor, describes her new exhibition as '...a show of fragmentary compositions that play with aspects of graphic design, illustration and reproduction methods.'The show features large paintings, a visual time-line and diary, and a series of brightly painted wooden plaques with collage. Inspired by Joseph Campbell's New Age lines: 'If you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living.' - Tonsor claims her art reflects this belief, and is inspired by a desire to capture her own moments in time through some kind of tangible, expressive medium. The show also celebrates the Olive Gallery's first year anniverary.
