OK Jones CD release show with Thom Hoskins of Buffalo Saints

Eighth Street Tap Room

Richard Gintowt spent the better part of four years as the drummer for local indie popsters Ghosty parting ways with the band to pursue his own songwriting vision. With the help of an all-star cast of local musicians, including Andrew Connor from Ghosty and Jeff Jackson (formerly of Holstein), Gintowt created "Middletown," a ten-song album steeped in the traditions of indie rock, country and folk music. Tonight he offers a one-time performance of the album in its entirety with the original six-piece band.

I've seen OK Jones three times now and each time they're better than the last. This was a great show: it was so good I picked up a copy of the album.

Of course, being Richard's co-worker I'm prone to bias, but who isn't?
