Michelle Malone / In the Fire / Kirk Rundstrom

Bottleneck

Singer/songwriter Michelle Malone plays hill-country music of the Lucinda Williams or Sheryl Crow variety, boosted by her mean bottleneck blues guitar stylings and seasoned backup band. Her new record "Stompin' Ground" was recorded in Atlanta at the Snack N Shack, a one-room shotgun shack that is rumored to have once been home to Atlanta bootleggers. Split Lip Rayfield's Kirk Rundstrom opens.
