(s)he loves me / (s)he loves me not

Mixed media show of local artists' variations on the theme "love OR love sucks."

Olive Gallery and Art Supply

Got a sweetheart for February 14th? Or are you spending another Valentine's alone? Either way, the Olive Gallery is putting on a show to please you. "(S)he loves me/ (S)he loves me not" should win with both love's virtue-extollers and love's eternal doubters. The Olive will be a gallery divided, with the two divergent themes segregated safely on opposite sides of the space so that vengeful anti-love militants don't completely ruin the couples soaking in some culture on their dates. On the "love" side: Valentine-colored walls, art extolling the beauties of love, and music provided by Floyd the Barber, a small jazz ensemble. For the "love sucks" side: black walls, anti-love art, and music provided by metal-core band This Building is Cursed. --Meredith Vacek
