For 31 years, one of the Midwest's largest festivals has been in Winfield, Kansas. Thousands of bluegrass fans and fans of the festival's curious culture come from around the country every third weekend in September. Lawrence filmmakers Mike Hannah and Rob Shoffner screen their lens on the spectacle tonight with Vol. 1 of (what they plan to be) a series: Pecan Grove 2003.
