Though benefit shows offer plenty in the way of good conscience, few offer great music to match. This Thursday night local bill would be worth a few bucks for any occasion, but knowing that the money will be used to pay 12-year-old Rose Naughtin's air ambulance bill for a second heart transplant makes it all the more worthwhile. (Rose received her new heart on April 12th.)Headliners Getaway Driver and Conner both bring powerful rock sets: GD leans towards emo-tinged power pop while Conner leans towards Iggy Pop. Andrew Connor takes a break from Ghosty to perform a stripped-down acoustic set, while The Shaggy-Haired Outcasts field an all-star lineup of Free State High School's finest.
