Ok, so nobody goes to see live bands any more because of the smoking ban, right? And if they do, they spend half the show on the outside patio. So some local bands have come up with the perfect solution -- give 'em a show that's so f-ing awesome they'll have to pay attention. And what better way to do that than to cover the songs of the second f-ing greatest Brit pop band of all time? While rockers Conner and Be/Non should deliver faithful renditions of Kinks classics, oddballs like Drakkar Sauna will probably have to do a bit of creative re-imagining. Either way, this should rival the epic turnout for last year's The Hardaways Tribute to "Abbey Road" ... but with a hell of a lot less coughing.Show will occur simultaneously at the Jackpot and Replay. looks awesome.
but i wish everyone who smoked had at least one relative with a hole in their throat or spent a childhood with asthma, maybe they'd appreciate the smoking ban a little more...

oh, fuck off. I've got friends with holes in their throats because of KNIVES, and you don't see me pushing for a ban on cutlery. Douche.
