Hard-edged melodic emo is the bread and butter of Hopesfall's screamy stew. The Charlotte-based band has drawn comparisons to Glassjaw and Nora for mixing hardore metal with melodic undertones. Opener Engine Down recalls Drive Like Jeho with its dark and driving, scream-free anthemic guitar rock.
