Funky. Gritty. Straight ripping. That's what Soulive says about its sound, and judging by the band's resume, some pretty swank guests would seem to agree. Besides collaborating with Dave Matthews, Jurassic 5 and Talib Kweli, the funky band has released a trio of records with preeminent jazz label Bluenote and toured the world from the Monterey Jazz Fest to Bonaroo.
