Appleseed Cast frontman Chris Crisci indulges his softer, more exotic side with his side-project-turned-bi-project Old Canes. The group's debut album "Early Morning Hymns" tells literate tales of love gone awry. On stage, the band gives the impression they could just as easily be playing on your front porch with an assortment of trinkets found in your basement, including acoustic guitars, toy pianos, bells and ramshackle drums.
