The annual party to cheer on all the last-minute tax payers as they rush to get their April 15 postmark. This event generally features Road Kill Stew, former mayor Mike Rundle clogging, music by the Packer Band, and - as the midnight hour approaches - crowd participation is encouraged in the cheering gaunlet for last-minute tax payers, set to the "William Tell Overture." CBS's Bill Geist will be on hand to do a story for the Sunday Morning show.

Just saw the feature story on cbs - very cool! Looks like you people in Lawrence know how to have FUN! I told my wife that maybe we should look into moving to Lawrence. She, of course, asked if they have tornados there. I told her "Probably so, but the survivors sure have fun!" The roadkill stew, however, was NOT appealing!
Keep on cloggin'
