Hall of Fame I am connected baby - been down that road -- as a full time rock musician from 78-92 in the state of Kansas. -- I remember seeing a Red Dog's poster in Victoria Kansas -- I think I was in 4th grade. Played in my first multi-state touring rock band with a guitar player who was a younger brother to the Fab Flippers. Although these bands were before my time they carried a reputation for years. The old vinyl 45 days. My how the years rock by..... J.D. Hart (Madgic)(Blubird)(Blind Date) Rock ON !
Rodney & the Blazers! Wow! My very first exposure to rock & roll. I once hassled Rodney Lay for an autograph while he was watching a high school football game in Coffeyville. Still have it too. He's had a very interesting and diverse career, and I'm glad to see his band being honored.
Saw the Fabulous Flippers a couple of times back in Minneapolis in the late 60's. Without question.....one of the best groups EVER! Harlem Shuffle rocks!
