Retired Chicagoan bellhop Ike Reilly dishes out some post-punk jams with a street poet's tongue and sly nods to garage rock, blues, folk and even a little hip-hop. Reilly is an underdog folk singer at heart in the tradition of Springsteen or Shane MacGowan but also an adventurist who dabbles in all types of modern song forms and production techniques. According to the rave reviews he's been getting lately, he's also a hell of a performer.
