Fans of Coldplay and/or Elbow would do well to check out British rockers Long-View. A stadium-sized draw in their home country, the band is trying to break into the American scene with a Sony Records deal and some extravagent music videos. The band specializes in transcendent, plodding shoegazer rock a la Gene or Spiritualized. Expect a grand spectacle.
