Holland's Bettie Serveert sprung on the college rock scene with 1992's "Palomine" and quickly gained the kind of cult following that also gravitated to popular bands of the day like Belly or Buffalo Tom. The band's output has been hit-or-miss since, but it's latest effort "Attagirl" has recieved favorable reviews and showcases the band's transition from rock to electronically tinged pop. Frontwoman Carol van Dijk's mellow voice is the band's centerpiece, with sophisticated instrumental stylings that recall The Cardigans. The projected start time for this rare in-store appearance is 7pm.
