If the Detroit-hubbed rock "revival" is getting on your nerves, perhaps The Sights can redeem a year's worth of overindulgent press. Moreso than hometown peer bands like The Go or The Greenhornes, The Sights incorporate a hook-laden approach to '60s garage that at times recalls Badfinger or, on the modern tip, Superdrag. The group's most recent album shouts an even deeper catalog of influences: The Band, Ike & Tina, Solomon Burke, The Everly Brothers and even (insert straight face here) Bob Seger.
