The high-register vocals of Claudio Sanchez distinguish Coheed and Cambria amongst a crowded pack of new bands that balance metal, emo and pop elements. Fans of Rush and/or Faith No More could very well hail the group as a second coming, while those who typically denouce metal/hard rock would have to admit there's something inherently awesome about the band's over-the-top prog rock.
