More Machine Than Man is a "cybergoth, electrofetish, and industrial multimedia project" that is working its way into the North American goth/fetish/industrial club scene. The band plays guitar-driven, industrial dance music reminiscent of electro-goth-industrial mainstays like KMFDM, Ministry, Lords of Acid and Nine Inch Nails. Lyrically, MMTM's songs are dark celebrations of B&D relationships, sci-fi imagery, the fetish scene, pervy sensuality and post-alternative rage. Lawrence's own cross-dressing glam rockers Vibralux set the stage.
