Named after the Austro-Hungarian Archduke whose murder provoked World War I, the band Franz Ferdinand has made its own international headlines based on the strength of its single, "Take Me Out." The song propelled the Glasgow quartet toward a breakthrough video win at the MTV Music Video Awards, as well as being prominently featured in a Sony PSP television commercial.(Note: This show was originally scheduled for Kansas City's Uptown Theater, but was moved to Lawrence last week.)
