Note: this show was originally promoted as all ages, but it is 18+This hip-hop showcase pairs MC/Producer Moka Only with a cast of Lawrence and Kansas City talent. Moka Only gained prominence with the Vancouver-based indie hip-hop outfit Swollen Members, which has sold more than 400,000 independent records worldwide. His new solo record "The Desired Effect" dips deep into jazz influences and features guest spots from MF Doom, Jay Dee and Oh No. Kansas City emcee Reach recently returned from a music-video shoot in Los Angeles, where he was rewarded for the skills that earned him the "Scion: Next Up" award. He'll be joined by fellow KC rappers C.E.S. Cru and Lawrence wordstylers Johnny Quest and Adru the Misphit as well as DJs Sike Steez and Oscar Slugworth.
