Crux Against Cancer

Bottleneck

"Cancer is bad. Hip-hop is good," so say the members of Crux, a cross-genre hip-hop group composed of KU students. Thus, the five-piece will headline Crux Against Cancer, a concert benefiting cancer research. "This concert gives Lawrence and the Midwest a chance to see hip-hop music address issues that have never really been talked about before," says Trey Allen of Crux. "It gives hip-hop a chance to do something different." The show will also include performances from Nick West and DJ Konsept. Sign-up tables for the Lawrence Relay for Life will be present. All ticket proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
