Unfortunately when they went in to remove the tumor, they discovered that it had spread to his lymph nodes. He was given a life expectancy of approximately 2 to 6 months, and to be honest (because this is what Kirk has asked me to do) it's looking to be sooner than later. Despite this devastating news, Kirk has decided to go off of chemo, has been exercising and practicing with Jeff and Eric, and wants to play SLR's key markets in the coming few months. He honestly sounds stronger to me now then he has at any other point in his treatment.I know this is extremely heartbreaking news but Kirk really wants to go out with a bang.
