After touring hard the last two months on both coasts, Ghosty returns home with a new EP-"No Nothing Tour EP"-on sale in Lawrence for the first time. The consistently amusing Pomonas are fast becoming one of Lawrence's hallmark acts. The giddy four-piece plays off-the-beaten-path pop rock that kind of sounds like a lot of stuff but really just sounds like The Pomonas. Guitarist Andy Gassaway has stepped up as a Mark Ibold to lead singer Justin Ripley's Steve Malkmus, contributing some seriously impressive guitar work and stellar new tunes. From the Pomonas: The last show for Ryan Laird as a Pomona and as a citizen of Lawrence. He'll be getting married and moving to New Orleans. The band is staying together, but this will be our last show around the area in the forseeable future. We've got the songs written and ready to record for a new full length, and we'll be touring extensively throughout the spring.
