SOLD OUT: The Faint

with Tilly and the Wall / Fourth of July

Granada

Synth-core hipsters The Faint may be the best reminder in recent years that the eighties never really died - they just starting dressing better. The Omaha band's most recent full-length "Wet From Birth" is full of the same robotic jerkiness and Orwellian techno that characterized past efforts. The group is touring with fellow Omaha band Tilly and the Wall, which recently delivered its Bright Eyes-approved sophomore album "Bottoms of Barrels," featuring more tap dancing, more voices, more hand claps, more exuberance and more harmonies than ever before in the history of the universe (excluding Mates of State, of course).

I'm sort of wondering how I can still get tickets to this show..

now would be a good time for Maureace Pumpkin to make a comeback...or I guess it would be more like coming back from the dead.
