Architects

The Gadjits may have changed their name, but the band's show-stopping revival rock remains in full effect with Architects. The KC group's sophomore album "Revenge" offers more dirty rock-and-soul sounds, banged out with the precision of a band that has weathered a decade together. Equally capable but less consciously hip than any of the "The" bands of '02 (Strokes, Hives, Mooney Suzuki, etc.), Architects deliver some big-league goods and always show up to play.
