Ska-punk music never seems to go away. No matter how many sub-genres come and go, there is always a small but mighty contingent who enjoy the horn-driven riffs, skanking guitars and beret-wearing keyboard players. A quartet of local acts who dabble in the style are gathering for just such a showcase. Among them is Lost 80, who Lawrence fans will remember as the former Phat Albert - a band forced to change its name after the Bill Cosby empire threatened legal action. Audiences can still expect phat grooves and "hey, hey, hey" choruses, though, when Lost 80 joins Matfield Green, The Newfoes and Combo Mambo.
