Black Ale Sinners (early patio show)

Almost final show with The Buckeyed Rabbits

After three years of bawdy ballyhoos, the Black Ale Sinners are calling it quits upon the relocation of founding singer/guitarist Steve Hammond (also of Filthy Jim). Drinkin' music is the meat of the Sinners' feast, inspired as much by the bluegrass traditions of Bill Monroe as the punk fury of Hank III. The five-member-plus band gets serious mileage out of mandolins, banjos, guitars and washboards and sings plenty of songs not suitable for the Opry stage. Openers The Buckeyed Rabbits are a strictly old-timey duo featuring former Black Ale Sinner fiddler Lindsey Hogan, who recently relocated to Asheville, NC.
