The Kansas Mutual Aid Legal Defense Fund exists to provide money for those facing legal battles stemming from state repression for their activities challenging oppression. Currently, the KMA Legal Fund is raising money for two cases: for people that were arrested during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina for taking food and water that they needed to survive, and for over a dozen environmentalists that have been branded by the Bush administration as "eco-terrorists."
