Kansas City's Blackpool Lights celebrate the release of their new album "This Town's Disaster" on their own Curb Appeal Records imprint (listen to our podcast preview of the new album). The hooks-a-plenty power pop quartet features lead songwriter Jim Suptic (formerly of the Get Up Kids), guitarist/vocalist Thom Hoskins (of Buffalo Saints) and former Creature Comforts rhythm section Billy Brimblecom (drums) and Brian Everard (bass). Two of KC's most celebrated rock acts - Doris Henson and The Belles - set the stage for what should be one of the summer's finest local music showcases. Note: Date and venue changed since original posting.
