Description: GO! presents the second show of the event series. As a pioneer of break-beats, BASSBIN TWINS (AM Only; San Francisco, CA) delivers an anything-goes live PA set that moves fluidly between break-beats, tech-house, electro, and funky drum and bass. Bassbin Twins, aka Peter Tall, started releasing underground dance music in 1992 simply because of a love for the beats. Bassbin Twins has put out ep's for labels like Skint, Southern Fried, SSR, Marine Parade, Mute, and Spider Cuts. Also in his repertoire is creating the soundtracks for some of the early episodes of the Power Puff Girls, then known as the Whoop Ass Girls. This event will also feature the house music mixes of Ryan Rushing (Roofless Family, Go Ventures; Denver, CO) and the beats of local celebrity DJ Konsept (Down Play).
GO!, a new monthly event at Club Liquid presented by Cicada Rhythm and Phukbed Productions, kicked off their event series Friday, February 3, 2006. GO! will feature local talent every month, including Kansas City's favorite heavy-house hitters The Control Freeks, Kansas City's preferred psychedelic-trance artist Clandestine, and Lawrence's own Tribal Vision DJs Alan Paul and Tim Hjersted, and house DJ CMC.
