Lawrence residents are invited to receive free community compost for home lawn and garden use on March 23, 24 and 25.Location: 1420 E 11th St. (east of 11th and Haskell, over the railroad tracks)Times: 8:00-3:00 each day (may close early if supply is depleted!)Bring shovels and buckets to load your own, or we will load your pickup truck or small trailer for you. NO dumptruck quantities. Not for profit or resale.Compost is great for soil improvement of lawns, flowerbeds, and vegetable gardens.
