Landmine Victim Benefit Concert
with Emporor Stan / Meridian / From Quiet Arms / Signal Oak String Band
When: Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, 8 p.m. to midnight
Where: Abe & Jake's Landing, 8 E. Sixth, Lawrence
Cost: $5
Age limit: All ages
Description: Join four local bands in rocking out for a good cause. $5 donation at the door, $2 Coors Light Bottles. All proceeds benefit survivors of land mines around the world, along with helping to fund mine clearing efforts. Bands performing will be: Emperor Stan, Meridian (both from Lawrence), From Quiet Arms, and Signal Oak String Band (both from Baldwin City). All ages show, must be 21 to drink.
