Named after the infamous Linda Kasabian - who was Charles Manson's getaway driver - Leicester's Kasabian became a darling of the British press with its mix of Stones, Happy Mondays and Primal Scream. Powered by swaggering singer Tom Meighan, the band's self-titled debut record sold 700,000 in the U.K. alone, and now the group is touring stateside on its new effort, "Empire." (Perhaps the band will cover "Helter Skelter" at its live gig?)
