Description: Synth-core faves The Faint headline KU's annual Day on the Hill throwdown. Revived last year after a four year hiatus, the event is no longer free -- $5 with student ID, $10 without -- but it does promise plenty of bang for your bucks. Co-headliners G. Love and the Special Sauce bring their gumbo of Philly soul, marble-mouthed wordplay and jammy Delta blues. Openers Pomeroy and The Roseline are two of the best in the area, the former specializing in funky live hip-hop and the latter in tuneful alt-country.
Noon - doors open
12:30 - The Roseline
1:15 - Pomeroy
2:30 - G. Love & Special Sauce
4:30 - The Faint
$5 with KU ID
Free with Preferred Student Card
