Description: From the organizers: Speakers include Congresswoman Nancy Boyda represented by Jason Fizell, District Director, KS Senator Marci Francisco, Environmental Historian Professor Donald Worster, and Carey Maynard-Moody. This event is the centerpiece of the "Lawrence Step it Up" rally for climate change action. Rally participants will also meet up at South Park at 4:00 for a group rally photo and march down Mass St. This rally photo displaying our message to Congress will be linked with photos from the 1300 rallies taking place throughout the country on this day. Please join us to call Congress to action!
