Description: From the artist: The Strand Test is based on the famous (or infamous) hair strand testing that finds the metabolites of your "history" in a single strand of hair, a memory, if you will, trapped in a single strand. The works are all in ink and colored pencil and show the multitude of images I have used for years in my artwork with a chart of their origins and meanings.
I have just returned from an exhibition of my paintings in Los Angeles, and have done numerous group and solo shows around this region, but this is my first exhibited series of drawings in a few years. It will be a truly unique and rare opening of this type for me, so please join me this coming Sunday for the big party! Hope to see you there! -molly
