Lawrence's PBR Band plays mean-ass bluegrass. Not mean like pissed off bastards - more like bastardized bluegrass. Old-timey but not old and tired. The group formed at the 2005 Walnut Valley Festival and has since refined their blend of honky-tonk, alt-country and appalachia stylings with a formidable arsenal of banjo, doghouse bass, mouth harp, guitar and mandolin.
